Fishing stories
Telling old town stories, reminiscence of the past, from ordinary citizens but also from renowned writers and poets who will read excerpts from their works inspired by and dedicated to Ohrid Lake.
Lake safety
Activists of the Red Cross will demonstrate all stages of rescue, reanimation and transport of a drowning victim, presentation of water purification in crisis and organizational skills. The event will be conducted by professional staff and by using models.
Eco photo-workshop
Painting spatial scenes, nature, people’s behavior in public spaces, and various camp-life moments in Ljubanista. Besides the educational value, images have artistic value, the power to generate multiple meanings, symbolism and would open up a vision for solving environmental problems. The workshop will result in three photo-stories, five photographs in each one of them, which will be exposed to the final exhibition. Within the workshop, several lectures will be held on the motives for the occurrence of waste, the impact on the environment, waste management, and social moments in the definition of waste places.
Velo Art
Parade of bikers will perform various acrobatic and artistic acts in order to present all the positive aspects and the beauty of using these traffic means, to promote more sustainable lifestyle and eco- friendly way of traveling.
Eco Action I
The Festival in coordination with all the participants will organize environmental actions I, II, III, to clean the coast of Lake Ohrid which is in catastrophic condition. It will be an action for strengthening the environmental and public awareness among all festival participants as well as the citizens.
Demonstration of artistic drawing
A group of renowned artists and students.
Origami workshop
With some old paper, news paper, new/ clean color paper, various interesting paper models can be made using the Japanese origami technique. Festival participants will also be included in the workshop. After the final event, each participant will receive an origami model as a gift. The models will be presented at the exhibition.
Placards and masks
Festival participants with placards that will contain message about: young people’s rights to live in a healthy environment, eco slogans and so on. Slogans will be written in many languages: Macedonian, Albanian, Roma, English etc. The masks will be a fantasy (associated with the eco- subject) of the youngsters who will decide to participate.
SPORTS - first round
Soccer tournament, volleyball tournament, ping pong tournament, chess tournament;
the judges will be people from environmental companies.
Puzzle Making
Macedonian artists will make a simple eco puzzle from recycled cardboard, in enlarged dimensions. Festival participants will solve the puzzle on the lake shore.
School for comics drawing
The comics will be a fantasy (associated with the eco- subject) of the youngsters who will apply for participation.
Eco quiz and eco competition
Environmental educators will present concepts of environmental protection, ecology, waste treatment. These concepts will be placed on billboards to be visible. Participants will be invited to compete in fast running through an environmental maze, choosing various options to exit the contaminated environment until the rainbow. Educators urge visitors to solve tasks such as puzzles, anagrams, etc. that educate about nature, river, recycling and health. Anyone who gives a correct answer receives a gift – beer.
Art workshop
Drawings of the Lake Ohrid, city of Ohrid, beauty of nature, ecology, life on the lake, city life, culture, etc. inserting an educational message about raising awareness.

Drawing on canvas
With the help of eco paints, young people will draw on canvas various paintings with various messages about the lake life, city life, environmental protection, nature and homeland.
Applied arts workshop
Various items will be made using old paper and other old items that are no longer useable, leaves of trees, stones, flowers and grass, flour etc. The items will be: necklaces made of dough, picture frames, different decorations etc. The items made will be presented at the exhibition.

Educational message
Members of environmental organizations and city inspectors will explain the possible diseases, problems arising from major pollution of the lake and will demonstrate the way of analyzing the pollution of water and soil. Through several video presentations on the beauty of nature around the lake, pollution of the lake and how we destroy the underwater life, they will urge greater attention to the nature. A survey of 4 questions related to ecology, culture and city life will follow.
Eco Recycling
From recycled materials (plastic bottles, cans, bags and other waste material) young participants will create installations and lines of various facilities that will urge the development of ecological, aesthetic, flora and fauna consciousness among young people.
Ohrid- lake perspective
In cooperation with the Kayak Union, we will organize a presentation of the kayak sport, the form and functionality of the kayak, the achievements and skills of kayak ride. The advantage of this sport is presented as an opportunity to promote the city, opportunity for tourism and sports development and getting familiar with the good side, but also, with the dangerous side of the lake.
Eco patrol
Scouts activists demonstrate their skills, ways of survival in nature near the lake, by placing a tent, searching for food, making analysis of the environmental situation, educating the visitors not to destroy nature. They will organize environmental patrol along the shore of Lake Ohrid. Young people are invited to learn about life in nature.
SPORTS ACTIVITIES - finals
The winners will receive beer in a cardboard box.
Eco Action
The festival in coordination with all the participants will organize environmental action to clean the camp where all the festival activities took place. It will be an action for strengthening environmental and civil awareness among all participants.
